“The Delight Of Decay”

Fresh paint, fresh face, and ready for market. I can’t recall what this object that has succumbed to time and rust’s beautiful bloom was, but looking at it now, after a day of anxiety and biopsy, it speaks to me. We’ve both aged and started to fail and fade, but to those with an eye for the tragic beauty of decay, we shine. All the dents and chips are bookmarks to endless tales and lessons learned. Personally, my stream of delightfully ill-advised adventures brought me to peace with the old, rusted, and delightfully busted me. I wish you a well worn decay.
